MEN & WOMEN, BLACKS, CULTURES

BLACKS :One of the more common stereotype examples is stereotypes surrounding those who are Black. Saying that all Blacks are good at sports is a stereotype, because it’s grouping the race together to indicate that everyone of that race is a good athlete.

MEN AND WOMEN
  • Men are strong and do all the work.
  • Men are the "backbone."
  • Women aren't as smart as a man.
  • Women can’t do as good of a job as a man.
  • Girls are not good at sports.
  • Guys are messy and unclean.
  • Men who spend too much time on the computer or read are geeks.
CULTURES:

  • All white Americans are obese, lazy, and dim-witted. Homer Simpson of the TV series The Simpson's is the personification of this stereotype.
  • Mexican stereotypes suggest that all Mexicans are lazy and came into America illegally.
  • All Arabs and Muslims are terrorists.
  • All people who live in England have bad teeth.
  • Italian or French people are the best lovers.
  • All Blacks outside of the United States are poor.
  • All Jews are greedy.
  • All Asians are good at math. All Asians like to eat rice and drive slow.
  • All Irish people are drunks and eat potatoes.
  • All Americans are generally considered to be friendly, generous, and tolerant, but also arrogant, impatient, and domineering.
this is a list of stereotype's that we use in America from what we say about black people, and stereotype's about men and women and how we look at different cultures.

America XXL

People around the world say everything in America is big, bigger than the rest of the world. With our over sized portions on food, and our extremely huge house that some times only a few people live in. Also Americans buy huge gas guzzling cars such as big Ford Trucks and Range Rover SUVS also people don't just have one SUV but many. However, Not all American are this way. Some try to  save the planet and drive hybrid cars. But I believe that the stereotype of everything being XXL on our food. America as a nation is fat and we created fast food which is full of salt and other bad things that we shouldn't put in are bodies. This stereotype is true some times because not everyone in America eats fast food or  eats over sized portions  nor does everyone   drive a SUV but alot of people do. That's why  people from other countries look at our country this way. They look at what they see on TV and the Internet and believe what they see. But personally I belive that America is XXL because we do drive huge cars, and have huge food portions, everything in America is big and we are famous for our music and events that show the world that we are the super power.

FAST FOOD

People look at America from other parts of the world and the first thing they think of is Fried Chicken and a big mac are country is the king of fast food the most obese nation in the world. We bring all these fast food places to other countries and show them are ways. all of these country when you ask some a question about America the first thing they usually tell you is McDonald's or hamburger and french fries. This is one of many America's Stereotypes. Even though American people are poor we will still  tend to eat a lot and spend are money(government money) on fast food companies that make unhealthy food that kills Americans day by day.
