DONUTS

In this image shows other countries look at  America and believe that cops just sit around and eat donuts like they see in the movies. This is a stereotype is not true because coming a police officer is hard work and i never see cops getting donuts at the local coffee shop. This stereotype became a stereotype because, in old American films that took place in the late 1970s towards the 1990s always had cops eating donuts when they were waiting for a call or something to happen.In America we also think cops eat alot of donuts but, in reality majority of the cops are in great shape and would never ear donuts its a stereotype that we use in America and what we see in movies.(DO NUT MESS WITH A COP)

American Stereotypes

This is how other countries look at America since we brought McDonald's all around the world so people think we just eat it everyday and look at us because we are so fat. Other countries look at us and we have huge house in the picture they compare it to Canada and Canada is a igloo. Other countries look at us and think we all have guns, and we worship wall mart this is a stereotype about America which is wrong because where i live there is no wall mart near me i don't own a gun and i rarely eat McDonald's.  other countries look at America and assume with out coming and checking it out for themselves.

Family guy is a TV show that was created by Seth Macfarlane for the FOX channel. The show is set in Quahog Rhode island. This show has humor which they make fun of people, kill people make fun other races. This show stereotypes races and makes a comedy skit making fun of them. In this link there is an example of them making stereotypes stewie is flying a plane and drops oil in the part and its drops to the ground and goes into the Italians hair making fun of there slick back hair. also peter thinks he can speak Italian because he has a mustache and there are just making fun of the Italian language. Also they have an Italian taking an eye test making fun on his ascents.

Jersey shore DRAMA BAD TV

This image is the MTV reality show jersey shore that was on from 2009 to 2012 this show portrays the party and club life style with Guido Italian Americans living on the jersey shore. in my opinion I don't think this show shows what Americas Italians are like, but it could show people from other countries on what people who grew up and live on the Jersey shore are like.This show is filled with drama and more drama so that could also be an American stereotype saying that Americans love drama. and entertained themselves with it. reality shows are all over American TV now and the Jersey shore cast all got famous from doing this show. They got famous from just partying and starting drama bad TV can be Americas stereotype.
